Poor Old Blog......

......I've really been neglecting you lately, in favor of the "sound bites" I can toss up on Facebook in just a minute or less. Not really my style, but I've been rather scattered lately. I've been told by several people that I am at some turning point in my life; that things are better then they have been in the recent past. Not that I don't appreciate their encouragement and enthusiasm, but I see everything as very much the same. Maybe I am just afraid to move forward, preferring the relative comfort of the here and now. I'm not too sure I want to see what lurks around the next corner.

So instead I retreat to familiar things. My lovely animals, making doll clothes, cross-stitching gymnasts. I'm dull as a moss-covered rock, I suppose.

As for the details: The doll clothes are for the 18" American Girl doll (although mine are Target Girl and WalMart Girl), The cats are Sammy, Carmella and Elliot and the gymnast is Beth Tweddle of Great Britain.
