Now I'm no style icon myself but a girl can dream, can't she? Rather then invest in the many yards of fabric necessary to cover myself, I buy little pieces of wonderful fabrics for my dolls. I've discovered some beautiful "tumblrs" dedicated to historical fashion. What is a tumblr you may ask? Well, I have no idea. It seems to be a variation of a blog, mostly loaded with amazing photos. Two of my favorites are Old Rags and Fripperies and Fobs One of my greatest inspirations in dressing the dolls in Period costumes is a true style icon, Queen Alexandra. Since I am off to my mom and dad's on Thursday, I'll limit my chatter and photos and post some new stuff over the weekend. For today I'll share a few photos of the lovely Alexandra.
