ALIX

14 March 1992 - 22 March 2009.
God called my dear and beloved friend home to him today. She had really declined rapidly in the past week. At 10:32 this morning she went to a peaceful rest, here at home in her favorite napping spot...Joe's coat. I struggled all weekend, since I had to be gone at a major gymnastics competition with my girls. My darling Joe took care of everything for Alix...and for me of course. What a comfort it was to know he was here with her and she was not alone. Now she frolics, forever young with all my wonderful pets who went on before her. I would like to think she is also meeting up with Suzie and Gabber.
No more for tonight. I'm simply drained, physically and emotionally. I'll try to post some photos later in the week.

  1. Oh, Jennifer, I am so sorry to hear about Alix. I know how much you loved her. She is in a better place and will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. She is a happy cat where she is now.

  3. I am so sorry about Alix!
As a cat owner I can truly sympathize. Even though they may be ill, there is just nothing to prepare us for this kind of loss!

  6. Oh Jennifer I'm sorry that Alix has passed on. I'm happy to hear she went to sleep in her favorite place. She is in a better place now and so you can take comfort in that.
